About the Editors

Look Gazette (lookgazette.com) is an independent outfit-discovery magazine for women and men. We publish complete looks, each broken down piece by piece, so you can see why an outfit works and recreate it with what you already own or what you can afford.

What we do

• One look, one page. Every outfit has its own page with a styling rationale, a garment-by-garment breakdown with swaps at three price levels, and notes on when and where to wear it.
• Both hemispheres. When it is winter in London it is summer in Sydney. Every seasonal look is labelled North or South, so nothing here is wrong for half our readers.
• Equal standing for menswear and womenswear. Many looks have a counterpart for the other side of the wardrobe, linked from the page.
• Evidence, not hype. When we call something a trend, we name the published source and date. We do not invent urgency, countdowns or price drops.

Who we are

Look Gazette is an independent publication operated from Australia. It is written and edited by an independent editor signing as The Editors. We keep the masthead anonymous on purpose: the clothes, not personalities, are the point. Being anonymous does not mean being unaccountable. You can reach us through our contact page, and we correct mistakes when they are pointed out.

Editorial decisions are ours alone. No brand or retailer pays to appear in a look, and we do not accept gifted products.
